Absolutely not! You can cancel at any time. Since 2009 we have built loyal customers by providing outstanding service, not through contracts.
Scoop Doctor poop scooping rates are very affordable. They vary depending on how many dogs you have and the frequency of service.
There may be an additional fee for large yards. You can substantially reduce the cost per cleaning by increasing the frequency of scoops. For example, instead of just once a week poop scoop you can schedule twice a week scooping which will reduce the cost per cleaning. Click here for our rates.
Weekly Service is billed on a recurring 4-week cycle. The invoice will be prorated. If you begin service in the middle of a billing cycle. You only pay for the weeks your yard is being scooped.
You’ll receive an account login from the Pet Assist website where you can make a secure online payment. We accept checks, all major credit cards and ACH.
To save more time we offer an auto-charge program. This no hassle option charges your credit card or ACH automatically every 4 weeks. How easy is that! Scoop Doctor takes care of everything and the poop is scooped from your yard on a regular schedule.
To keep the cost of the service down Scoop Doctor does not have an accounts receivable department, so payments are accepted prior to service.
There is a small additional charge on the first visit to clean up the accumulated dog waste. This charge varies based on the number of dogs.
Scoop Doctor technicians are very careful to securely close your gate while we are there and when we leave. We‘ve never had a dog escape from their yard.
As long as your dogs are friendly with strangers there’s no reason to keep them inside, however, if your dogs are uncomfortable with strangers or show aggression toward people please keep them inside on the day of your scheduled cleaning. If your dog is at all aggressive please let us know in case we accidentally encounter them.
Yes. Dogs still poop in the winter, so Scoop Doctor scoops year round. When there is snow on the ground we ask that you shovel around the entrance gate, so we can access your yard.
Please make sure your gate is unlocked, so our Scoop Doctor Poop Scoopers can easily access your yard. When there is snow on the ground please shovel around your gate, so we can get in. For safety reasons, our Poop Scoopers are not allowed to climb fences.
If we cannot access your yard you will still be charged for the visit, as we will scoop double the amount of dog waste on the next visit.
In the event of inclement weather, visits may be rescheduled to another day. If the bad weather continues a visit may have to be canceled. If canceled, Scoop Doctor will clean up the accumulated waste on our next visit. You will be credited ¼ of the cost of missed visits due to the fact we will have double the amount of dog waste to scoop on the next visit.
Regular poop scooping service is not scheduled on the following holidays:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- the day after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Day
If your service would normally fall on one of these days it will be rescheduled to a different day that week. If it can’t be rescheduled you will be credited ¼ of the cost of the missed visit. This is because we will have double the amount of dog waste to scoop on the next visit.
If you and your dog are going away, give us at least a 24 hour notice and we will credit your account for the canceled visits. Have a wonderful vacation!
Please let us know so Scoop Doctor can schedule more time for each cleaning. To keep your lawn free of dog waste you may want to increase the frequency of poop scoops. See rates for multiple dogs here.
Hopefully, you will stay within our service area so Scoop Doctor can continue to keep your yard clean. Just let us know when and where you are moving so we can transfer your service to your new location. If you are moving out of our service area we are sorry to see you go, but we will be happy to refund the amount of any unused services.
Pet waste is double bagged and sealed in deodorized bags, so there is no odor. The sealed bags are placed in your trash, by your garage door, or another location designated by you.
We always want to do a good job cleaning your yard, therefore we recommend you keep your yard clear of leaves and debris. We are not responsible for finding pet waste that is hidden under leaves, debris, toys, etc.
